There’s a certain joy that comes with being able to grow something that’s all your own.

At the garden we aim to offer personal raised beds for individuals to grow their own things, separate from those maintained by volunteers.

While we are all for working together as a team to grow food for the whole community, we understand that it’s important to have a chance to grow things on one’s own schedule; to learn and try new methods, new varieties, and to have a patch to call your own–even if it’s only for a little while.

Personal raised beds measure four feet wide, twelve feet long, and two feet high. Each person or family that is assigned to a raised bed will have use of it for a two-year term.

Personal plots will be assigned via a lottery system. Their are currently 17 plots available.
